Who We Are

Raffles Consolidated (Pvt.) Ltd. is a limited liability company, originally launched as a Partnership in December 1999 and then incorporated in September 2002. The company was primarily set up as an Outdoor Catering Company to cater to an already established corporate and up-market clientele. In September 2001, they ventured in to Industrial Catering by winning contracts to operate cafeterias in some of the prestigious establishments in Sri Lanka.

Raffles Residence, since 2016 stands tall majestic at Mirihana, Nugegoda the epitome of luxury, with two banquet halls in which we can house 100 to 300 people respectively, to cater to all your banquet and catering needs. the elegant setting of the banquet halls too are an invitation of their own to any event to be hosted at Raffles Residence.

It is a place where people can come together to celebrate special days and exceptional moments, making your events unforgettable. We offer a full-service venue, courteous staff with well-trained stewards, dedicated chefs and skillful event coordinators for superior attention to details.

We are also one of the first food and beverage companies to obtain ISO and GMP standardization.

Board of Directors

Tan Bohoran


Tan Bohoran has been serving as the Chief Executive Officer for Raffles Consolidated since November 2019. As the CEO he sets and evolves the strategic direction for the company and its portfolio of offerings, which has bought about Café by Raffles and the poised entry to the FMCG sector via the brand Teaser Beverages.

Prior to his appointment as CEO, he served in numerous positions and business development roles within the business including, Chief Marketing officer from 2015 to 2016, Senior Sales & Marketing Manager from May 2015 to Nov 2015.

His academic accreditations include a Master’s in professional Accounting from La Trobe University in Melbourne and Bachelor of Business in Marketing from Swinburne University of Technology.

Tony Bohoran


Tony Bohoran has been one of Sri Lanka’s leading Chefs with over 35 years experience. His restaurant and the catering services have been well sought-after by the Sri Lanka’s elite and top corporates. Having graduated from Ceylon Hotels School in 1986 as a professional Chef, he went on to obtain a degree in Food & Beverage Management from the American Hotel & Motel Association affiliated to the Educational Institute of the Michigan University, USA.

Having worked for Confifi group, Hilton International and two of Sri Lanka’s famous restaurants namely Don Stanley’s and Paradise Road Gallery Cafe, he decided to quit working for others and formed Raffles in December 1999. Tony is also a Food stylist and a consultant where he extends his services to leading media agencies in Sri Lanka. He holds the authorship of ‘Tony’s Cook Book’ a collection of Tony’s own creations, which he has compiled over the years.

Mohan De Silva


Mr. De Silva, a Diploma holder in Professional Cookery has over 35 years’ experience in the hotel trade and has worked as Executive Chef in many hotels, locally and overseas.

Started employment career as Management Trainee with Confifi Group and had the opportunity to serve within the Group for over 14 years as Chef and lastly served as Executive Chef at Riverina Hotel, Beruwala.His local experience is coupled with international experience in working in the UAE, Oman and Bangaladesh for approx. 8 years. He joined Raffles in 2004 to share his expertise in the industry.

Shan nawaz

A Diploma holder in Professional Cookery and possess over 30 years’ experience as a Chef in the Catering industry locally and overseas. He commenced his professional career with Restaurants like Don Stanleys and Gallery Café in 1990s up until 1999 where he joined to set-up Raffles Consolidated (Pvt) Ltd under the guidance of Mr Tony Bohoran.He oversees the day-to-day activities of the company, ensuring that the organization is managed and performing efficiently and effectively.
